Commitment Ceremonies

Each parish in Louisiana requires each minister to register with the parish Clerk of Court before perfoming wedding.  I am currently registered only with the St. Landry Parish... and therefore able to preform official wedding ceremonies only in St. Landry Parish.  I COULD serve as a wedding officiant in and for other parishes... but I would have to go down and register with the the Cleck of Court for each individual parish.

 

Since homosexual [gay] marriage is currently illegal in the State of Louisiana... homosexuals wishing to commit to one another are forced to go "Old School" and use the older form "Commitment Ceremony."  I am perfectly willing to act as officiant for such commitment ceremonies and services... either standard... or self created [written].
